So I was reading this...and I thought "damn, I need to share this with someone"...and this was the only place where I knew I could find a few people who'd care. So here's some thing that was new to me...and maybe new to you. msnbc.msn.com/id/13558242/?GT1=8211Anywho, other than that...what's going on? Anything exciting? I'm looking for a job now that I'm officially a college grad. Anyone need a teacher?

Not unless the likes of George Lucas get his freakin' resurrect-every-character-made-hands on the HP stories.

haha I read that the other day. I figured something would happen. Maybe Ginny will get pregnant with Harry's kiddo so that when he dies the legend can live on. lol
But yeah, congrats on being a college grad finally! Good luck finding a job. You'll be an amazing teacher!

Of course this happens to come out a year before the final book...does anyone smell a sell more books plan here? There are so many people who could die that are "main" characters. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Snape, Hagrid, McGonagal, etc etc etc.

Pft. No killing of the Snape, he's actually interesting. Not just a cardboard character like some of them.
I think I would be ok if they killed off Harry...just because it would really end it all. Ya know? But...I'm sure that millions of tiny children would run to England and stone JKR to death if that happened.
I think that it would be cool for her to write the story of James, Lilly, and Co. But I think I read somewhere that she wouldn't do that. That would really be like Star Wars. The prequel after...hmmm.

eh, I always figured that Harry and Voldemort would kill off each other and then the universe would be neutralized. Or Voldemort will die and everything will be good, or Harry will die and everything will still be in a state of craposity. Those are really the only three outcomes that people expect. Harry's to angsty for this world anyway

Yeah, Harry's definitely going to die... I kinda reconciled myself with that fact after the 6th book. I hope Snape doesn't die... but I can definitely see it. And Manda, YAY! College grad, you :-P I'm sorry for poofing away all of a sudden... things happen... and... yeah. There's really no way you can forgive me, can you? Even if I say I fell in love? Or will that make it worse? Hahaha.

Well, actually... it's my best friend. Her name's Mary. Hahaha... yeah. So, I've been dealing with the crap I've been getting from friends and such, for, I dunno, the past freaking year. It's a tad bit annoying. And unfortunately takes up a crapton of my time which = no time for HPA. But now that it's summer again, I have a bit more time. And Lauren, I saw your other post in the GH, if I didn't say already, congratulations hun. I miiiiiiiiiss all of you. And you have no idea how many times during all this friend drama that I desperately wished that I had kept in contact with you guys so I could rant to someone.

I've always held that two more big characters were going to die in the final books: Voldemort (well, he has to die or the world's going to be taken over by prime evil), and who's much more of a main character than Voldy but Harry, who is the other I always thought would die. Tis sad, but that is, I fear, how the books will probably end.

Gem! You know...it's kinda funny...I was just thinking about you because I remember our obsession with PotC a few years back. And here is the new one out...so yea. Timing...weird, eh?
You know you can alway get ahold of me. My xanga changed but I posted it on yours...I'm TheDarkThing now. And you should still have my MSN and Yahoo. You could have ranted to me anytime.
In fact...I insist you contact me. I want to know the whole story. I've missed you!

Woo! Tangent: POTC 2 sucked balls.
feel free to disagree with me, but it was horrible. No plotline, random unnecessary scenes, no explanation for some bits, and really really lame work on the evil character front. The whole thing was just a two and a half hour trailor for the third movie, which isn't looking very good.

I am inclined to agree with you North. It was very much the middle of a story. Lots of setting up for the next one. One thing I liked about the first was that it really can stand on its own. You would never know it was part of a series. I think that maybe it was a bit like that because they didn't think it was going to be this big and was going to demand a sequel or 2. Now that our friends at Disney know how huge a sexy pirate can be...they do what they do best and market the hell out of it. So with this movie they made it a little different. Am I making sense? I also need to see it again...I think I missed some things. I need subtitles...pirates talk w/ too much of a slur. Also: New HP link! YAY! Yeah, I definitely didn't like POTC 2 because I was expecting more of the first one... and it wasn't, so... that kinda sucked. Manda, I never see you on yahoo! But I'll get my MSN up and going again so I can see when you're on. Know the whole story, or the parts that I can remember, you will.
