Yay! Music = )
You must listen to anything by Jack Johnson: Bubbletoes, Flake, Mudfootball, Traffic in the Sky, Tomorrow Morning, Dreams Be Dreams, Wasting Time...(to name a few)
Bob Marley: No Women No Cry, Stir it Up, Buffalo Soldier, Jammin
AC/DC: Back in Black, Shook Me All Night Long
Billy Joel: Only the Good Die Young
Counting Crows: Accidentally in Love, A Long December, Big Yellow Taxi, Mr. Jones
Filter: Take my picture (sooo good!)
The Foundations: Build Me Up Buttercup
Jet: Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Cold Hard Bitch, Roll Over DJ
Santana: Evil Ways, Smooth, Why Don't You and I
John Mayer: Your Body is a Wonderland, Daughters, Why Georgia
The Killers: Smile Like You Mean It, Mr. Brightside
Merideth Brooks: I'm a Bitch
Oasis: Wonderwall, Champange Supernova, Don't Look Back in Anger, Hey Lila
Puddle of Mud: She Hates Me
OAR: Crazy Game of Poker, Hey Girl
And of course anything by Greenday, Blink182, and the Beatles mmmm that took up a lot of room. And of course I still have another 10,000 suggestions.
No Rain by Blind Melon kicks ass no matter how many times you listen to it! It also makes me feel like spinning around. *dances to it with Trish*

Kay I love you! You actually have some songs I know. I'm so out of it when it comes to music. My friends listen to rap and I'm like huh? Hehe! I didn't think anyone would recognize the songs I had! I saw the other lists and was like...I've never heard of these songs before! As I get older, I find myself not minding the older type of music that used to bug me like classical and opera. My friends are starting to see the effects too, but they still stick to their rap and underground alternatives.

Kay. =P I've never had a problem with that kind of music. I can pretty much listen to anything but country and most rap and hiphop.
It just gets a tad annoying after a while.
Oh well! I'll just stick with my angst-ridden punk/emo bands and my classic Pink Floyd and AC/DC. =D
OH! Piano Man by Billy Joel I think.. That's a good one. =)
*Dances with Northy*

Cool. =)
I love how after you've listened to a band for a while and looked up sites about them and start to learn like everything about the members, you become like.. comfortable with them. =) Lol, that might sound weird, but I've liked Good Charlotte for SO long. I have a GC notebook filled with pictures of them and lyrics to all of their songs.. I used to be totally obsessed with them but I've sort of gotten over it. Like, I still love them and all, but I'm also kind of moving on to other bands and types of music. I've liked them since I was in.. 6th grade I think. =)

*Pokes Kay.* Ya'll aren't old though. And you're telling the person who is feeling her age when she talks to club members who don't remember when Brad Pitt and Gwenyth Paltrow used to go out.

What I hate is liking a band for a year or two and then MTV finding out about them and POOF! Everyone that looked at my weird for wearing a Taking Back Sunday shirt is now singing right a long. Stupid assholes. I got into an argument (near fistfight) with this stupid guy at school who said Taking Back Sunday was *his* band. I was like "Uhm, hell no. I've liked them since my sophomore year, probably earlier and YOU just found out about them, so kiss my ass. They are my band and if you ever think they are yours again you can choke on your next meal and go straight to hell." I'm possessive. I remember one time I was talking to Trishy & Duckie (methinks, I know it was Duckie, but not sure about Trishy) and they didn't know New Found Glory has had more than one album. Pshaw, losers! And Kay, I remember when Brad & Gwenyth dated...Jeebus, all the movies fricken talked about it...LOL...I never really thought they'd last...

Lol! You're one of the few that I know who remembers that, Kim. I knew they wouldn't last either. Same with Bennifer.

loL. Kim im the same friggen way! i cant stand it when people look at me cuz their like yeah i bet that band doesnt even exist! im like bugger off! erg. it makes me. mad. like my cousin is in a bvand..oh geez i cant think of the name right now, but they are about to be in the studio recording for victory records, they are awesome! hes played at big clubs here in atlanta, and only a *few* people know about his band, so when im sitting there singing some of his songs peopple look like they could kill me! eh. they'll sing along one day too. but yeah..there is this ther band, ann bolynn, and i think theyll be breaking through soon..
oh! and in a couple of years my band will be breaking through! haha not. i dont think we're all that great..im dropping out of my own band because my singer sucks and even though i tell her shes out..she doesnt listen. i think ill sing. im actually quite good, but it may be a little tricky and all since im lad guitar. :-P ...ha and our band name is Signatures and Salutations.. but we dont have anything recorded yet..speaking i think next week we have a band practice..

Kim, I know what you mean...I was into GC before MTV got hold of them, and no one at my school knew who they were...then I thought I'd be nice and share a CD with my friends..*BAM* everyone's a GC fan. It pissed me off because then they tried to be punk and grrr...Trish might remember that one LOL It's also why I get pissed off at people who claim to be Eminem fans. They only like his crap single that he puts out to sell a few CDs. Then when it gets to the real music like "Rock Bottom" or "Say Goodbye Hollywood", they don't want to hear it. *sigh* People are so stupid. I don't get the point of being fake. If you really like Britney Spears's music, who cares? If you don't know a band, who cares? Music doesn't make you cool, people need to realize that. *growls* hmph. ok I'm done lol.

Haha yeah, im not really big on music. Like I dont know a bunch of bands and stuff. My friends just recommend songs and cds and if I like it when I listen to it I put it on my Ipod, lol. *shrugs* I find my own music sometimes too, though. Just by looking around itunes and stuff I usually dont worry about who really likes who and stuff. There is only one thing that annoys me. Back when One Tree Hill came on tv, like a year or 2 ago, I heard the theme song (I dont want to be, gavin degraw) and liked it. So I figured out what the song was and who it was by and stuff. Then I bought his cd, and I love it. It relaxes me for some reason. So ive had this cd forever, and origionally noone knew who he was, and if they did they only knew about "I dont want to be". Suddenly, like 2 months ago, "I dont want to be" started to get played on the radio, and sudenly EVERYONE loooves gavin degraw. And hes performing in Dayton on the first and I cant go to it, but my friend gets to go. The thing is she walks around saying "I LOOOOOVE Gavin Degraw!!" and she doesnt even have his CD! It frustrates me. lol

I remember that too!
I'm getting into listening to rap more right now. It's not so bad anymore. The stuff in the 80's was good and the stuff in the 90's pretty much sucked.
Trishy LauncCast + is the yahoo Launch in YIM and with plus you can listen to any station they have and there are no commercials and you can skip as many songs per hour as you want. So basically it's a much much much better version of Launch.
