i've never read grapes of wrath.. but we read all the others in my 9th grade class and little short stories in my 10th grade class

Books have a point. There is an underlying message sometimes that is a social commentary.

Yes, Kay, but not ALL books have a point. Some of them have morals, yes, but not necessarily a POINT. School books have a point - to teach. Fairy tales have a point - to help young kids further their imagination skills. But The Book of Stupid Questions has no point.
