thats why I read slower with the HP books, usually taken 3 chapters at a time... or 12, either one, but I do it in 6 days... to prolong the greatness!

I usually read it through really fast the first time so I know the jist of what happens, then I go back and re-read it to pick up the things I missed.

Same here, read through fast cause of the anticipation and finally getting it, then re-read it one or two more times to pick up the things missed and details that may have been overlooked.

Last time, I only stopped to eat (sometimes), sleep, bathroom, and to run around in circles screaming "OH MAH GAWD!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED?!?!" to no one in particular. It's so fun! If you want to know if there's a party in a town near you, check out www.potterparties.comOh, and who is it that's from Rhode Island? Lucky you - Jason Isaacs is going to be in your state!! DAMN YOU TO PUSS BUCKET SPEWING HELL!!! (Sorry. Family Guy quote.) The party he's at is in Cranston. Mugglenet has more info in their news.

I was up North in Traverse City on Wednesday and Thursday before the book came out, and I was so mad because I found out that Leland (a little town just south of Traverse City and where my grandma grew up) was turning their entire down town/main street into Diagon Alley. I was like "Awwww, Grandma, can't we stay just a FEW more days?" but neither her nor my Aunt Linda wouldn't let me.

Well that sucks! I would have felt really bad if that happened to me lol. I'm pretty sure they didn't do that anywhere around here, but it would be really cool if they did that to State Street, in Madison.. hmmm.

Haha... the entire downtown Naperville was Diagon Alley... there's a Mexican restaurant called 'Potter's Place' and they hung a giant sign over it so it was 'Harry Potter's Place'. And I think our Potbelly's was turned into the TTB. Twas fun.
