I never really liked Dr. Seuss. I liked things that made sense, even when I was younger. I couldn't stand the artwork either. While all my peers were reading Dr. Seuss I was reading Berstein Bears.

I didn't like all the Dr. Seuss's, but I was a weird kid, so yeah. Makes sense I would enjoy them. I liked the ones that were actually stories, like Oh The Places You'll Go, or that one about the pants...
I was a also a big fan of the Berenstein Bears too, along with the Little Critter books by Mercer Mayer, and the beautifully done Eric Carl books.

To clarify: Desi is right on how to spell it Me being the southern girl that I am, always pronounced it Bernstein bears, when actually, it is nowhere near that.

Remember those Where's Waldo books? My elementary school library had them, but there was a huge waiting list to even check it out. I don't think I've genuinely looked at a Where's Waldo books.
